1. Files you process with our tools
Every tool on IMTools runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Files you upload to a tool (images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, text) are processed locally on your device and are never sent to or stored on any server we control.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Google Analytics 4: When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics records page visits and limited tool interactions such as selecting a resize mode, processing an image, and starting a download. These events include technical details such as the image format and selected mode, but never the file name, image contents, local path, or text entered into a tool.
- Server logs: Standard request logs (timestamp, user-agent, status code) kept for up to 30 days for security purposes.
3. Information you give us voluntarily
If you contact us by email, we keep the email and its content only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your theme preference (light / dark) and your last-used settings on certain tools. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers when it is enabled. You can control or delete these through your browser settings.
5. Advertising
